Additional Notes: Orders are shipped from their facility, and customers should ensure the provided shipping address is accurate to avoid delays. HTH Inc. aims to maximize efficiency by optimizing the number of signs per box to minimize shipping costs.
- Proper Installation: Always attach the sign correctly to prevent it from being damaged or dislodged while driving. Ensure the four neodymium magnets (or six if upgraded) are firmly placed on a clean, flat metal surface on your vehicle’s roof. Incorrect installation can lead to the sign blowing off or scratching the vehicle.
- Keep It Clean: Regularly clean the sign and its mounting area to maintain readability and professionalism. At least once a week, remove the Quad sign and wipe it down thoroughly with a mild soap solution and a soft cloth to remove dirt, dust, or road grime. Pay special attention to the magnets—dirty magnets can scratch your vehicle’s surface. Allow everything to dry completely before reattaching.
- Magnet Care: The neodymium magnets come with scratch-proof covers, but dirt trapped between the magnet and the vehicle can still cause damage. Inspect and clean the magnet surfaces and covers before each use. If the covers wear out, replace them to protect your car’s finish.
- Rust Prevention: While the sign itself is made of durable polyethylene, the magnets and any optional hardware (like screws or grommets) are metal. Check these components periodically for signs of rust, especially in humid or salty environments. Apply a rust-preventive coating or replace rusted parts as needed.
- Graphic Maintenance: If your Quad has custom graphics, avoid abrasive cleaners that could fade or peel the decals. Use gentle cleaning methods to preserve the design’s clarity, ensuring your branding remains visible.
- Storage: When not in use, store the sign indoors in a dry, cool place to protect it from weather-related wear and UV damage. Avoid stacking heavy items on it to prevent warping.
- Optional Features Check: If equipped with GPS tracking (sold separately), ensure the unit is functional and charged. For lighted versions (e.g., with an LED light system upgrade), inspect wiring and connections periodically, though the standard Quad is non-lighted unless modified.
- Speed Limits: Adhere to recommended speed limits—55 mph with four magnets, or 65 mph with six—to avoid stressing the sign or risking detachment.
- Return Window: If you’re unhappy with your purchase, you must contact HTH Inc. within 10 business days of receiving your package to initiate the return process.
- Condition Requirements: The item must be in "new" or "like new" condition to qualify for a return. HTH Inc. may refuse the return if they determine the sign is in unacceptable condition.
- Return Process: You need to call their offices (1-800-321-1850) to begin the process. If a return is approved and requires a Return Merchant Authorization (RMA) number (e.g., for warranty issues), this number must be written on the box and accompanying paperwork. Returns without an RMA number will not be processed.
- Shipping Costs: If the return is due to an error by HTH Inc. (e.g., defective product or incorrect item), they cover the shipping costs. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for return shipping expenses.
- Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee applies if the sign is returned in "new" or "like new" condition and the return isn’t due to a company error.
- Warranty-Related Returns: For defects in material or workmanship under normal use, HTH Inc. offers a 180-day warranty from the date of purchase. They will repair or replace the product at no charge using new or refurbished parts. If a guided repair doesn’t resolve the issue, an RMA number will be issued for return processing.
